Road Closure & Potential Delays

For the safety of the competitors and the general public, traffic will be controlled in the vicinity of the race during the running of the five stages of this prestigious International Cycle Race. Details are as follows:

Stage 1: Wellington Bainskloof Pass
Time: 10h40 – 12h00
Nuwekloof Pass
Time: 10h00 – 11h00

Partial Road Closure
Church Street (between Main Road and Malan Street)
Time: 05h00 to 09h30 and 11h15 to 13h00

Vehicle Detour. With 800m to the finish all convoy vehicles fork left at Bain Street. Follow Bain to the junction with Fontein where they turn RIGHT into the Parking area in Fontein Street.

Stage 2: Durbanville
Partial Road Closure
Vissershok Road
Time: 05h00 – 13h30

Delays
Koeberg Road and Vissershok Road (between the N7 and St John’s Road)
Time: 09h30 – 12h30

Stage 3: Paarl
Franschhoek Pass
Time: 10h00 – 11h00
Du Toitskloof Pass
Time: 12h00 – 14h00
Rooihoogte Pass (Between Villiersdorp & Worcester)
Time: 11h30 – 12h30

Partial Road Closure
Market Street
Time: 05h00 to 09h30 and 12h30 to 14h30

Vehicle Detour. At the second Roundabout the convoy turns RIGHT into Berg River Blvd. Left into Breda Street and Left again into Du Toit Street. From Du Toit Street, turn Left into the parking area.

Stage 4: Signal Hill
Lower Kloof Rd in front of Camps Bay High
(Controlled traffic flow)
